OMG. Went to Epicentre today, i don't know how to get there! Luckily saw Shirley and others at the MRT. :D

Apple gave us briefing on their products and what their products do. Why must people buy apple products. It really makes one wanna buy right after the talk. It was really engaging. The MacBook is really chio la.

We ate Burger King before we went back to school. By the time we took bus back to school. It was already 12plus but we still have works to be done. Me, Sufi and Jaryl helped to arrange the displays while the other 2 girls help the price tag.

We are selling the small items with 15% lesser than the retail price. And iPOD and MacBooks at 8% price lesser. Free membership too! So hurry up down to SP Retail Place @ School Of Business 3rd Level! :D

I've got myself 2 1-for-1 17again movie tickets. Damn. I thought it was free. At least better than nothing.

Shopping for NEW house!

Went to shop for stuffs for NEW house yesterday. OMG. Took taxi to Balestial to buy LIGHT. Omg. There's really alot of lights down there. The new house have like 45light points. So we bought everything for almost $3k. Went to makan sushi @ Yuki Sushi or something like that in Shaw Plaza.

Took taxi to IKEA @ Tampines that one. It was really big. Walk till bth. Then when buying. They said must deliver in 3days time, cannot extend, extend must add $50 a day. Then my mom declined and went out of IKEA instead. Ate hotdog :D It's really nice when you eat it once in a while.

Wanted to buy this dining table initially.

But i think this table looks better.

This lamp also quite nice leh. But takes up space.

COURTS MEGASTORE!!! The moment we stepped into the place, it's the SAMSUNG TV! LED TV! 40 inch and 46 inch. BLOODY BIG. Furniture was our priority so we went to 2nd floor straight for it. We bought Coffe Table, Dinning Table, Bed, Sofa (too bad we can't have fabric one instead as my mom say it's hard to clean if that bastard damages it) so well. We bought leather Sofa instead.

Then the TV, it's really ridiculously expensive. YEAH. Bought the 40inch one. They said it's on offer for their first day launch. So yeah. Since we can save $1k+ we bought it. Still damn expensive though. But if the price does dropped next month. We shall go claim the MONEY!

By the time we finished shopping for everything. It was 11pm. LOL. 1hour passed Courts closing hour. Well, at least we chionged everything. Except for a chair for study area, a table and chair for my room. It's going to be a QUEEN size bed in my tiny room, so i'll buy them when i know how big is the space left.

Total expenditure for SATURDAY was around: $15K

I think this renovation will be going to take at least $80K total. Sian, but then alot of tiles, floor and stuff all opiang one leh. They like lor. BO bian :(

Was watching this late at night yesterday.


WHICH made me woke up damn late today! HAHAAH.

OMG! 2nd day of school. UCCD was really scary. Jaryl told me the teacher chased him out because he was SMSing. Went into the classroom, it was duber cold, everyone quiet and nobody was moving. So i found a place to sit and remained as it is for like 15mins? Until he told us to arrange the tables in a specific manner which was really weird. AND OMG! UCCD needs LAPTOP! How?!! He kept emphasizing about punctuality, well i guess i can't be late the next time. There's assignment to do and need to hand up on 29 May 2009.

Found out UCCD is still survival-ble. My Store Management is with Shirley, 1 taiwan guy, 1 indian guy and 1 indian girl. How well will that work out eh? GG liao. Need to report to Sara tmr 12pm to do the price tag thingy. Oh :(

Tuesday is FULL of tutorials!!! OMG. 3tutorials. 6hours. and if anyone has Store Management on that day. It's really jialat to them.

Qualitative Analysis tutor was still okok. Able to joke and have fun with us. Nice loving person.

First Day of Retailing @ SP

OMGOMG! Today's my first day of retails in SP. My class quite ok. Alot of them were from DBA02 de. 6 of them plus me. 7 :D

The tutor or lecturer Sara talked damn FAST! Can't really catch what she says la. But it was alright. First lesson only. We were released at about 10am. 02 people grouped together and we decided to go to Tampines 1 since we have like 5hours BREAK until 3pm for FMA.

Dover to Tampines was really far lor, about 50mins MRT.

We went to this UNIQLO shop first to see why exactly people kept coming. In the end realised they did not open fully, only a small entrance, then setting up this queuing thing outside their shop, now this is really attractive.

WAH... went to watch fast & furious 4. It's a damn nice movie lor... The moddings, racings and killings... all damn cool. Although they didn't use alot of nitrous in this movie. It's still really good. 3.8/5

Woke up damn early today @ 11am but was attacked by ZZZ monster again and slept till 2pm. Bathed and slack awhile then took 966 to Pending. 700 brought me and JX to Orchard Takashimaya.

Ate Yoshinoya, omg, the promotion sucks... it's actually fishcake and rice only. 4fish cakes, some vege and rice cost $5 -.-; Luckily the food still ok. The greentea they gave me was rather cheapo too. Taste like plain water.

We walked around looking for laptop bags. Then i even MMS Debbie so that she could see what we're buying. She wanted RED coloured ones but there wasn't any.

In the end they never buy. So JX and me headed for some Hokkaido IceCream. Had the cookies and cream + Dark Chocolate. Taste pretty good. I still think the IceCream @ Genting First World Plaza one owns the most. Damn nice :O but very expensive also. Haha.

Had my haircut already. Always feel so tired. I think i should stopped sleeping after 1am. It sucks really...

CHIBA Group @ Cineleisure and BFF @ Parklane

Went out super early today to meet CHIBA'ians. Unfortunately, there's only bingsheng, yuli, qianyi, jonathan and wilson, and of course me. As i've already watched Handsome suit, they were super kind enough to watch SNIPER instead. I must say it's really full of actions. shoot shoot shoot. But the storyline pretty sucks. Edison was as cocky as ever. His face. well.

Anyway. It's not bad imo. But 10bucks is quite alot for this one though. Next movie i wanna watch would be Fast and Furious 4.

Just watched Handsome suit and detroit metal city yesterday. DMC was quite a good and funny movie. :)

After all the movies stuff. Went to meet CC, sc and donn @ Parklane. Then we played dota -arsp and -arspdm with cc's JC friends. After 2 victorious match of DOTA, we played L4D, playing infected was surprisingly fun :D

In the end, we slacked a while at Mac and went off to Pratashop @ Serangoon. Slack slack chill chill. Took bus with CC to Buangkok and he showed me the way to the bus stop just at the right time the bus came.

Yeah. That's my boring day. :) Life sucks.

Ate this very often, i should stop doing that before i get fat. LOL.

They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying, "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together.

For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race consists of three endurance events of a 2.4 miles (3.86 kilometers) ocean swim followed by a 112 miles (180.2 kilometers) bike ride and ending with a 26.2 miles (42.195 kilometers) marathon along the coast of the Big Island.

Father and son went on to complete the race together.

Based on the TV interview of Dick and Rick Hoyt, Dick, the father explained that Rick while still in his mother's womb, the umbilical chord was wrapped around his neck cutting off oxygen to the brain.

And when Rick was born, the doctor who was looking after Rick told Dick and his wife that Rick would never be able to walk nor talk all his life that it would be best that they put him away. But the Hoyts would not be willing to do such a thing and decided to bring him home instead and decided likewise to treat him just like anyone normal kid. So that when the family went for a swim, Rick went with them and so on and so forth.

It was one day while wathing TV (if my memory serves me right) that Rick saw a benefit marathon for a paralityc child and he wanted to be a part of the benefit marathon. And that started both father and son with their races even while Dick had a heart condition and Rick himself was not well all the time. In fact there were two years where they were not able to join the races because Dick had a heart attack and the other year was that (if I remember it correctly now, Rick was the one who had a problem.

And also based on an article that I read about them, both had so far completed 212 triathlons, 4 15-hour Inronmans. And that it was two years back from today, when Dick had his heart attack, and his doctor said, had it not been his good physical condition on account of the races, he would have died 15 years ago.

Both then via the races have served one another in a loving and wonderful way.

Dick humbly said in the interview when he was called a hero by the interviewer, "I just simply love my family".

And indeed, he loved them even as he loved Rick that much that he committed himself to do the tough physical demands of the races and the triathlons, the Ironman that his son may have the chance to enjoy the races and be a part of life. And in a return show of love and appreciation, Rick says this of his father, "Dad is my hero."

And to end my inputs on the father and son, I'd like to end what Rick says that he likes most...(Rick types using a special machine), he says, "The thing I most like is my dad sit in the chair and I push him once."
