Oh my god! Went out today taking train from Kallang all the way to Jurong East and then to Choa Chu Kang. Shengjie was the one who did that to me :( His uncle and auntie need help reformatting computers.
Oh well, was really damn early, that bastard reached very late leh. Went to Northview de condominium, nice leh, but the beach color not so. Well, started off with this desktop which was fairly good. We started by using the disc that his uncle got, but to no avail, it failed half way through, drive.cab was not able to be copied to the system successfully, so we tried Shengjie's DELL XP disc instead.
While waiting... we had our PIZZA!!! Woot, quite a long time since i ate pizza, wasn't that bad after all. Oh, and his brother was actually engaged! So the house we went to was actually shengjie's brother's girlfriend's ( or rather wife? ) father's house! WOW, complicated eh?
And they had a really FAT hamster! OMG, it looked really lazy! LOL. No wonder so PHAT.
We carried on with our reformatting of the PC, but we could only get the LAN driver installed, somehow when we tried to put in the motherboard drivers CD, it hanged. The rest of the CDs worked fine though, so we actually skipped the drivers and went on to Wireless Driver, which they had, and it was a Linksys little wireless thingy. But we were only able to connect them WITHOUT internet access :(
We failed and got a little chat with the uncle while we try the adapter on the other computer, and it worked out fine. So my guess was the windows part. Somehow, i've got this hunch that XP PRO will work.
Took MRT to Marsiling, there was this guy who came to fetch us. Walked a pretty long distance from the MRT station until we reached his house. He was very easy to talk to and very willing to learn. He kept asking us what we were doing and how to go about doing.
It was a smoothed installation and reformatting, he basically had everything ready for us :) No problem at all except that his PC was pretty old and so it took quite a while. His complained that his laptop was lagging, we were able to know why he said that, end up it was his internet explorer that caused the problem, so we suggested him to switch to Google Chrome instead and he gladly accepted :)
Oh well, i will skipped the boring parts, we left the house with everyone happy and a little exhausted from the whole day of travelling. Oh and his auntie quite pretty leh. Hahhaha.
Anyway, went back home, had dinner and went to Bugis to find CC and SC. Ate TAO HUAY and YOU TIAO! (: Listen to CC talk cock. And now i'm back home blogging this. Might play dota later.
